CocoaT Commercial Roaster

The CocoaT commercial roaster that comes with a roasting drum to roast up to 20 lbs (10 kgs) of cocoa beans in a single batch. The temperature and timer control lets the user customize it depending on the variety of cocoa beans (cacao beans /cacau beans) used.
The roaster drum comes with a door to easily add or remove the beans. For adding the cocoa beans, open the drum door, use a scoop or tray to pour the cocoa beans into the drum. For emptying the contents after roasting follow these steps:

  • Remove the dust collector tray at the bottom of the oven
  • Place the top tray of the CocoaT cooling tray Max instead
  • Turn the heat off
  • Release the latch
  • Let the drum rotate
  • Drum door opens and let all the contents fall into the collection tray
  • Remove the collection tray and place it on the CocoaT Cooling tray max
  • Switch on the cooling tray system
  • The beans are cooled in 5-7 minutes

The unit also comes with sampling port to remove the beans for tasting without interrupting the roasting process.

This roaster can also be used for roasting nuts such as almonds, pistachios, pecans, cashew nuts, Brazil nuts, Hazel nuts, etc. Customized roaster drum is available on request for roasting grains, pulses, lentils, sesame seeds etc.

CocoaT Max cooling Tray:


Top tray doubles as collection tray for the roasted beans in the roaster. Available in 110V or 220V. Place the top tray in the CocoaT commercial Roaster after roasting is done. Release the latch in the roaster drum. All the beans are collected in the top collection tray. Then remove the tray from the roaster and place it on the cooling mechanism and switch on the power. All the beans are cooled in less than 5 minutes.

Cools 10 Kgs (22 lbs) of roasted beans in less than 5 minutes – prevents overcooking by residual heat in cocoa butter in cocoa beans or nut butters in the nuts
