General FAQ


Question: How does the out of country warranty work for cocoatown products?

Answer: The appliances sold by CocoaTown have been thoroughly tested against their specifications. Each unit sold and shipped outside USA is individually tested prior to shipping.

The units are insured against any shipping damage if the shipping arrangement was made by CocoaTown.com. Any shipping damage will be covered by the shipping courier.

It is not practical to provide warranty repair service from Continental USA for the units shipped outside Continental USA. If the unit arrived with no shipping damage but had Defect On Arrival (DOA), we will provide procedures to troubleshoot to identify the problem and will ship the replacement part. Customers will have to get the defective parts replaced locally by a qualified / certified repair person. The DOA has to be reported to CocoaTown.com within 2 working days after the unit is delivered. For those units that need service after the warranty period, CocoaTown.com will supply the parts at a very reasonable cost.

Question: Will I get the unit that looks like the pictures in the website?

Answer:  We at Cocoatown are constantly improving the Grinders and melangers based on the feedback from our customers. We take all the efforts to update our website often. But still the actual unit you receive might look different than the one in the picture. Be assured that the functionality will be on par or better than the description in the website.

Question: How do I make sure that I order the correct voltage if I am ordering from out of USA?

Answer:  When ordering mention the voltage needed in the comments section. We supply units with 110V / 220V single phase motor and 220V / 440V three phase motor as needed by the customer. ECGC -65 comes with 2 HP three phase motor and all the other units come with single phase motor.
