All the units carry a minimum of one year limited warranty against manufacturing defect from the date of shipping.

Warranty covers only the units purchased from CocoaTown LLC or its authorized dealers or authorized webmalls and used by the original purchaser. Warranty terms & limitations are detailed below. CocoaTown will assist the customer if there is any difficulty getting warranty service from the manufacturer when the product is warranted directly by the manufacturer.

For products covered by CocoaTown, CocoaTown has the option to repair or replace the product with a similar or equivalent unit or component at the discretion of CocoaTown Service Technician. If the product needs service after the warranty period, it will be repaired for a reasonable charge. If the product needs to be serviced during the warranty period, please contact cocoatown by email or phone for prompt service. CocoaTown will issue Return Authorization number (RA#) and instructions. Units sent for service without a RA# will not be accepted.

If warranty service is needed, CocoaTown supplies the parts for commercial appliances and/or for appliances sold outside continental USA and the user installs these parts at their cost. Customer is responsible to install the parts following instructions provided by CocoaTown.

The maximum liability for CocoaTown is the cost of the unit stated in the original invoice. Under no circumstances is CocoaTown responsible for any loss or damage, direct or consequential, resulting from the use of the product. This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied (statuary or otherwise) and of all other obligations on CocoaTown part.

Warranty Terms & Limitations:

Warranty covers the units purchased directly from CocoaTown.com or its authorized dealers, distributors or web malls.

Shipping Damages are not considered as manufacturing defect.

Warranty applies to original purchaser only. Warranty is not transferable.

Warranty does not cover damages caused by improper installation and/or installed by unqualified person. Units should be installed by State certified professionals.

Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, intentional damage, usage for other than intended purpose, improper use, being involved in accident etc.

Manufacturing defect does not cover failure of components resulting from not adhering to maintenance schedule.

Products bought as used equipment, or from other than CocoaTown or their authorized dealer, are not covered under warranty.

Small scale appliances can be repaired or replaced (depending on the defect) at the discretion of CocoaTown technician, if the customer ships at their cost to CocoaTown. CocoaTown pays for parts, labor and return shipping cost only.

Warranty addendum for shipments outside continental USA:

The Melangers and GrindersTM and other appliances sold by CocoaTown are thoroughly tested against their specifications. The units are insured against any shipping damage if the shipping arrangement is made by CocoaTownTM. Any shipping damage will be covered by the shipping courier. Customer should follow shipping courier’s instructions for claiming shipping damages.

It is not practical to provide warranty repair service from USA for the units shipped outside continental USA. If the unit arrives with no shipping damage, but has DOA (Defect On Arrival), we provide procedures to identify the problem and will ship the replacement part. Customers will have to get the defective parts replaced locally by a qualified / certified repair person. The DOA has to be reported to CocoaTownTM within 5 working days after the unit is delivered. For those units that need service after the warranty period. CocoaTownTM will supply the spare parts at a reasonable price.
