Nib Dispenser for Alpha50, Alpha100, Alpha200 Grinders:

Most of our chocolate makers add nibs directly to the melanger to start the grinding process.  Typically, it is added slowly in the beginning before increasing the addition rate. When we asked our customers, what is their pain point in adding the ingredients into the grinders, we found out that they add few scoops at a time and at 10 to 15 minute intervals. It takes 2-3 hours for them to add all the nibs or nuts into the grinder.  How do we reduce the time it takes to add the ingredients and at the time reduce the grinding time? Dr. Balu came with the “Nib dispenser”.

Nib dispenser helps to add the nibs consistently at an adjustable rate and at the right place inside the melanger. With our Nib Dispenser there is no splashing or spilling outside. When adding manually, some ingredients land on the roller holder or the side of the drum and does not get mixed into the grinding mass quickly. Adding them right at the grinding surface helps to grind and mix more efficiently. Ingredients such as sugar if added at the wrong place can quickly end up between the roller stone shaft and Delrin insert and can cause premature wear on the Delrin inserts and the roller stone shafts.  The rate of addition and where the ingredients are added are operator dependent. Automatic nib feeder eliminates that variability.  It comes with a hopper that holds 3 kgs of nibs and one can add 65 kgs of nibs in less than one hour
