ALPHA50 Grinder

Lot of our customers like the great performance of ALPHA100 (ECGC-65E) but are looking for an economy model with a smaller capacity. To fulfill their needs, CocoaTown is offering ALPHA50 (Abi50) chocolate grinder. It is designed to grind 10-23 kgs (30-50 lbs) of 15 micron size chocolate liquor (cocoa nibs / cacau nibs /cacao nibs + sugar + all the ingredients combined) 

When compared to similar options available in the market, ALPHA50 (Abi 50) grinder gives superior grinding efficiency.This economy model has the same stellar performance of ALPHA100 (ECGC-65E).   

Even though this is an economy model, the shell, roller holder shaft, frame, lid are all made of high quality stainless steel. Double roller stones make the grinding process very efficient. ALPHA50 (Abi 50) grinder comes with stainless steel wipers and it is more hygienic and easy to clean. They are more durable than the delrin wipers. Tilting mechanism helps to effortlessly remove the chocolate liquor from the drum and to clean the grinder.  

The unit comes with direct drive and 220 V, 1 HP,three phase USA bought gear motor. No belt needed. The ALPHA50 (Abi 50) control panel needs to be hardwired to 220V, single phase input power. The grinder wire plugs into the control panel.

The ALPHA50 (ABI50) Grinder comes with basic and deluxe control panel.

Basic Control Panel: 

• The basic control panel comes with a speed control knob,on/off switch, and emergency shut-off.
• Control panel converts incoming single phase 220V power into a three phase 220V power supply for the motor. 

Deluxe Control Panel: 

• The deluxe control panel comes with a speed control knob, on/off switch, emergency shut-off.
• External emergency shut-off pendant is installed on the grinder and the wire plugs into the control panel.
• Control panel converts incoming single phase 220V power into a three phase 220V power supply for the motor.

The unit can be upgraded with following accessories – tension gauge mechanism, CA package and emergency shut-off pendant (usable only with deluxe control panel).

If the grinder is used for nut butter processing, it can grind nuts to yield approximately 40 cups of nut butters. As a general guideline, to get optimum performance, we suggest that the total ingredients should not cover more than 80% of the roller stone height.

The unit carries a limited one year warranty against any manufacturing defect.

The unit can be upgraded with features that are standard in ALPHA100 (ECGC-65E) –tension gauge mechanism, CA package and emergency shut-off pendant.

If you are using for nut butters, you can grind about 45 cups of nuts. Since each nut has a different volume and weight this is only a reference point. The amount you can grind for each variety of nut is slightly different. As a general guideline, to get optimum performance, we suggest that the total ingredients should not cover more than 80% of the roller stone height.
